SHARING POINTS

What kind of small sharing points are there in the public sphere? What kind of interventions can be done in the public sphere? 

Starting to think about where the project could result in:
- Deliver product to next one
- Storytelling product
- Recipe
- Devideable product
- Place to share

For the midterm I suggest two ideas that take my attention:

- Creating a object that we already sharing, but make the use of it dependent on others

- Create a concept for a physical platform that moves through the city and creates a multifunctional sharing place (supported by the animation on the right).

Together with Alicia we both tried to map and brainstorm on the complexity of our subject. I find it hard to connect al the involved aspects in the sharing economy.

We decided that narrowing down the subject, based on interviews and research, would help:

SHARING ECONOMY
What is missing:
- deeper social connection/interaction
- awareness of the deeper meaning and impact of sharing

When is it missing:
- In the physical transaction of the goods

Focus on the specific:
- Household goods
(By analysis of my own day and what goods and spaces I share and where the possibilities are laying.)

Most described having dinner and drinks with friends and/or family

After struggles with the conplexity of the project and a bit of a break from the project, I had a talk with Bruno en Erik which helped me opening my eyes again to the potentials in the project. Filtering the information to the ingredients for sharing which research and interviews have shown.

This is a rough outline of the practice process of THE POWER OF SHARING

Looking at the ingredients for sharing I went to the park with a friend to play a game, trying to create a comfortable environment to share with others.

Focussing on the ingredients: 
- Taking the time
- Having a place to sit down (physical environment)
- Facilitate the interaction by an activity
- Do it local and for everyone
- Meeting of the needs
- and Empower

The girl in de video slowly opens up and we share a lot of personal subjects with each other, next to the tea that she offered us. The enthousiasm of the girl confirmed the power that such intervention can have.

The earlier made discoveries resulted in the idea of creating a sharing-manual. This can be a physical, or digital and open source, manual in which will eleborate on the ingredients for making a sharing-friendly-environment. To open the conversation about sharing, a game tool is attached to get closer to the ones you do not know yet and get a better understanding and awareness of sharing.
